In the material crushing process of the cryogenic mill system, a remarkable feature is its closed-loop cold source system. This setup enables the full utilization of energy, leading to significant energy savings. The cold source can plunge the crushing temperature down to a frigid -196 degrees Celsius. By aligning with the brittle point temperature of different materials, operators can flexibly adjust the temperature during grinding. This optimization not only helps select the most suitable grinding temperature but also cuts down on energy consumption. The grinding fineness achievable by this system ranges from 10 to 700 mesh, and can even reach micron-level fineness. Utilizing liquid as the grinding medium facilitates ultra-low temperature grinding, bringing about multiple comprehensive benefits such as explosion-proofing the materials and preventing oxidation.
Cryogenic comminution works like this: First, materials are frozen to their brittle temperatures. Then, they're crushed in a crusher to the needed fineness, without ruining their original makeup. What's more, flammable and explosive stuff that's risky at room temperature can be safely crushed by this efficient machine at low temps. The liquid nitrogen cryogenic mill uses liquid nitrogen as a cold source. After cooling, the materials turn brittle. They enter the grinder cavity via a high-speed rotating impeller. There, they repeatedly bash against blades, tooth plates, and each other. Through impacts, shears, and frictions, they get crushed. The crushed materials go through an airflow screening machine for grading. Collected materials that aren't fine enough return to the silo for more crushing, and some of the air-conditioning air goes back to the recycling bin.
